Shign 2.0 app for iPhone and iPad

Shign is a research company that helps organizations to improve the working and living environment based on data science. To this end we conduct research into the influence of the environment on you as a user, so-called impact studies.

With the Shign app we collect your experience of your current environment in real-time according to the diary method (Experience Sampling). Your diary is a recurring short digital questionnaire. This allows you to assess a limited but determining number of environmental aspects in less than 30 seconds.

To participate in the survey, download the app, create a one-time account in the app, and then select the touchpoint you want to review. You activate, you decide what you assess, when you do this and how often. The intention is that you do this repeatedly, at random times during a number of weeks. Because your opinion about your environment and the circumstances of that environment also change over time.

At the end of the research period, we analyze all user experiences that have been shared with us via the Shign app. We do this according to current scientific standards. We ultimately show to what extent the environment positively influences or hinders you (e.g., well-being, productivity, engagement, pleasure) and by which environmental aspects this is caused. With these so-called user experience data analytics, we make the invisible visible and reveal the impact of the environment on you. By giving clarity to the result, we enable your organization to implement evidence-based interventions for a better working and living environment.
